At My Getaway Driver, we’re continually looking for ways to improve our service, make our pricing clearer and provide a better experience for our customers across Perth and beyond.

As part of this commitment, we’re making an important change to how our customers pay and book their journeys.

No more card transaction fees

In line with Australia’s new card surcharge rules, My Getaway Driver is abolishing separate credit and debit card transaction surcharges from 1 October 2026.

Whether you’re booking an airport transfer, corporate journey, private day trip, concert transfer or special event, you won’t be charged an additional fee simply for paying by card.

We believe customers should have clarity and confidence when paying for their transport, without unexpected payment surcharges being added at checkout.

Introducing a $2.50 assisted booking administration fee

While we’re removing card transaction surcharges, we’re also introducing a $2.50 administration fee for bookings that require our team to manually enter and check the booking details on your behalf.

This applies to bookings made through channels such as:

• Email enquiries and booking requests.
• SMS or text messages.
• Verbal bookings made over the phone or in person.
• Other booking requests that require our team to manually enter, process and check the details.

This small fee helps cover the time involved in manually processing booking information, checking journey details and ensuring your requirements are correctly recorded in our booking system.

The good news? You can avoid this fee by booking directly online!

The easiest way to book — and save $2.50

We encourage all our customers to use our online booking page wherever possible.

When booking online, please provide all the information we need to organise your journey correctly. In particular, please use the NOTES section to tell us anything important about your booking.

This might include:

• Pick Up Location to Drop Off Location
• Amount of People – Checkin – Carryon
• Flight number and scheduled arrival time.
• Multiple pickup or drop-off locations.
• Category Of vehicle Everyday – Corporate – Chauffeur
• Child seats or other special requirements.
• Any Special instructions

The more complete your booking information, the better we can prepare for your journey and deliver the service you expect.

Online bookings help reduce manual administration, minimise the need for follow-up calls and messages, and allow us to process your request more efficiently.
